Amazing Pulled Crock Pot BBQ Chicken
  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • onion chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • crushed red pepper
  • diced garlic
  • bottle of BBQ sauce
  • 1 bottle of good beer (we use Sierra Nevada)
Put in the crock pot boneless skinless chicken, the large onion chopped, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper for some spice, diced garlic, 1/2 bottle of BBQ sauce and a bottle of beer. My suggestion is to put it on as long as possible before you want to eat. I suggest making it the night before and eat it the next day for dinner. Let it cook all night, in the morning shred it and put it back in and add the rest of the BBQ sauce. Let it cook the rest of the day, if possible stir it once it starts cooking and after you shred it during the day if you can. No biggie if you can’t. Eat it for dinner on buns as pulled chicken or without buns. Soooo goood! Best BBQ i have ever made. I think cooking it so long helped a million times too.
After making it, it never makes it till dinner the next day so it was just as good if you put it in that morning and eat it that night. Cook on low that is the important part. Eat it for dinner. Goes great with grilled corn and mashed potatoes.
I have made it a few times now, and every time I add a spin on it, making it even better. I’m thinking of starting to make my own sauce and start entering some competitions! What do you think?
Have you tried making it? How was it?
