The last few evenings have been absolutely beautiful! There was a slight breeze and the temperature could not have been any more perfect. We were able to fish a bit, catching nothing good other than some bait fish and some bigger catfish. We threw the catfish back, except one to use for bait in our crab trap. Bait fish didn’t do much baiting for us, didn’t catch anything. That’s ok. Next time we will get you!

So yesterday and today we spent hiding in the boat because of scattered storms pushing through the area with a cold front, and will take it! Raining on and off, long enough to run up to take showers and such but getting lots of work done in the process is fine by me. Sunshine will come sooner or later. And when it comes it does bring heat. But now we do have a little more protection. A larger tarp for the back of the boat and the smaller one up on the bow to help with the sun roasting our deck.
