Last night was a very sleepless night with strong winds that had Papillon bucking in the water. After slightly sleeping in we set sail at around 8 am to head out to new waters. The water called for 15knt winds but we were only seeing a slim 5-8 down wind around Titusville but still decided to try the genoa and see if we could catch any wind.

As we headed through to the Banana River we had found what we were looking for. We had a nice choppy 10-15 knot wind with a small following sea giving us a slight boost.

We kept on till we reached New Smyrna Beach and were trying to find a good anchoring spot. We saw lots of great outside bars with the smell of food in the air to just make you drool. With no where to anchor that would be close enough for us to row in we kept going to end up at a little creek with some good depth and a few fellow boaters.

Holding was a bit shady at first but we were able to grab in good, just hope it holds when the tide changes.

We are tired, I am burnt, we are craving a juicy burger, a cold beer and a long shower but that will all have to wait for now. After traveling 54+ miles today we were ready for a break.

We will just have to see where the wind takes us tomorrow.
