So now that we have been here for 5 days, we are disappointed that our great weather sailing has led to some rougher days here in port. That has led to us remaining on the boat for the week without the ability to venture to land, the Tiki Hut or Peanut Island. On a nicer note, Curtis has loved the water here, being the clearest water he has ever
swam in. Everyday he has taken to the water for a swim, giving the bottom a cleaning and checking out the reef that was under our boat.
His greatest find was a 10 lb orange starfish that was larger than his head! After looking it up, it is a Bahama Starfish, and of course we had to get him in a photo with it and once done, we put it back where we found it. It was very cool and quite amazing at how large it was. I on the other hand stayed on the boat and cleaned up a bit but did take a few min to take a quick photo of me!
We have also tried to do some fishing while we are here but with no luck. Even tried to catch some bait but none of that either. Only thing lurking in the water was a 5 foot barracuda that kept stalking Curtis. I do have to agree with him but I saw the other barracuda, a 3 foot one, the width of that thing was about a food. No way I was getting in the water with that thing!
